We are a team of about 50 people and we are growing fast. That's why we are now looking for a Python/Django Developer to join our team!

‍

Which technologies do we use?

‍

➡️ Almost all of the code is written in Python (3.10) with the Django framework on the backend and Javascript (jQuery and a bit of Vue.js), HTML, and CSS on the frontend.

➡️ As DBMS, we use PostgreSQL and Manticore search.

➡️ We keep our code in Git, hosted on GitLab.

➡️ Virtual server infrastructure runs on Debian in the Azure cloud.

➡️ Pytest and Selenium are used for testing.

➡️ Scrapy helps us with web scraping of different sources of data.

➡️ Asynchronous jobs are done using Celery.

What will be on your to-do list?

‍

➡️ Participate in the development of our SaaS solution and internal information system written in Django and Python 3.10

➡️ Write tests (unit, integration, selenium)

➡️ Create scrapers on different data sources

➡️ Automate business processes and participate in their design

➡️ Occasionally modify Nginx configuration or the configuration of other programs we use

➡️ Fix bugs or "unexpected behavior" in the production

Who will you be working with?

‍

➡️ Jan Skácel (CTO) - started in Seznam.cz, one of Leadspicker founders, an enthusiast of functional code, forced by circumstances to test (and does not regret it)

➡️ Vojtěch Oram (Senior Full Stack Engineer) - started at Seznam together with Honza, joined Leadspicker from the beginning on a part-time basis. After Seznam he went through Red Hat, where he got infected with the love for open-source and now he has been working full-time for us for a couple of years. He's passionate about clean code and testing.
